GF Joseph S. Kizer b. May 1864 (TN?) ; GM Jullie A. (Jennie) Floyd b. Jul 1875 (Tn) ; GGF James S. Kiser b. c1824(Ala?) GGM Mary A.. Williams b.c1843 (Ms?) My father and sibs were born in McNairy Cty. I have other info from 1850,1860,1880,1900,1910 Census also if you want it. Let me know if this fits into your side of the house. Hi Joe, My cousin (her grandfather and mine were brothers born in McNairy county in 1876 and 1879) and I spent 4 days in/around McN. Co. and found Absolutely Squat!! I'm Convinced there just Isn't Anything There! She's researched for 10 years, and I've been on their trail for 4, so I give up! (for now, anyway). Am Totally burned out. Did get to hug a Kiser, tho. Lockie is 90, and a descendant of Newton Jasper and a sweetheart of a lady. We're 99.9% certain our line ties into theirs, but can't prove it. Have seriously thought of doing a DNA. The Kisers there have a big reunion every Oct.; we Just missed it. It's always the 1st Sun. We plan on attending next year. You interested in going? Thanks for the updated version of your family; have changed my records accordingly. I have 2 diff. dates for Joseph S., tho; 1864 and 1874. Whatever..... Will be going to the Knoxville libr. on Sat.; can I look up anything Specific for you? There were a lot of Kisers in Blount Co., right next door to Knox. Know anything about them?
