My wife, June and I recently bought a property in the mountains south of Mudgee in New South Wales, Australia. The property name is KIRWIN and was originally a land grant to a Timothy Kirwin in the year 1863 after he had emigrated from County Tipperary Ireland. Would you have any records that show a Timothy Kirwin who died in this area in the year 1916 aged 78. That makes his year of birth 1838. It seems he carried out farming on this property together with his wife Jane. They had a son Timothy, perhaps other sons and daughters. Timothy senior and his wife are buried in Windeyer cemetry. Jane died in 1939 at the age of 91. They had a daughter Hannah who died in 1924 aged 47. If you have any information on this family, I would appreciate an e-mail from you.
