Since my husband has packed all of my genealogy stuff, this is all from memory! :) We are moving!!! Matthew Kerwin (from IRL) m. Ann McCarthy (from IRL) came to western New York. One of his sons, James Kerwin owned a business (see Wyoming Co. NY GenWeb page for details) in the area. He married Catherine O'Brien, who was born in County Waterford. One of their sons, Edward Kerwin married Mary Eleanor "Nellie" Dodge in December 25, 1902. My grandmother, Katherine Lyle Kerwin, was born September 24, 1903. :) Nellie's parents were Elliot W. Dodge and Susan Lyle, both from Warren County, PA. There are more Dodges and Kerwins but I don't have the info in front of me. On the Wyoming County, NY GenWeb page, James' personal business book has been transcribed. The names of his children and grandchildren are listed.
