Hi all, Gee, it kind of feels like a birth announcement each time I get to do this! I am happy to announce the addition of a new family chart to our collection. To see the Descendants of Michael Kerwin/Kirwan - Galway, IRE > Cook Co., IL look here: <http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~jmbhome/1kirwin.html> I have heard from a couple of other folks who are getting their data ready to send for posting! Looks like we may be "on a roll" in time for St. Paddy's Day! And, thanks to my cousin Patrick Owen Kirwin for 1) reminding me and 2) posting to the Kirwan/in GenConnect Boards what I think is a terrific idea! St. Paddy's Day 2001 just happens to be the 200th birthday of our Patrick b. 1801 in Dublin (at least that's what he put on his papers ;]). Pat has suggested we use the date as an excuse to all meet in Kirwin, Kansas for a clan/family reunion/celebration. He has added that the Kirwan, KS Historical Society would probably be quite interested in helping us put this together. You could hardly be more equidistant in the center of the country than Kirwin, KS!!! You can email Pat at <patkirwin@hotmail.com> if you are interested and/or willing to help pull this off for us all.... I think it is a terrific idea and will begin hiding pennies from the leprechauns in anticipation ;] Just for our root family, the descendants of Patrick and Martha Jane Mills Kirwin, it would be the first time we had all been in the same place, same time in certainly 100 years.... Pat and I have never met in person..... I don't know about the rest of you, but this all has that feel of being bigger than us all to me... Thanks for your support! BTW, if you have Kirwin photos, I can add those to the website as well.... our branch is known for really sticky-outy ears.... how about yours??? Jana
