Thanks to these links, I have found James Kerwin who left Quebec and immigrated to Cook County (ILL) to marry Mollie McFadden in October 1890 ! I would be very excited to learn of their descendants. Through Family Tree Maker sites, I found a son Gregory Kerwin (1894-1954). They also had a daughter Iris Kerwin. I am a descendant of James' brother Luke.
