I traveled to the UK and Ireland this past year searching for my own Kerwin's / Kirwin's / Kirwan's and found a lot of material. Unfortunately for me, I still haven't made the link to my great-great grandfather, and am still on the lookout. However, I did copy a lot of material down from the archives in Dublin, which may be of help to some of you. My material comes from the parish records for Kingstown (Dun Laoghaire) located in the National Library of Ireland in Dublin. I copied down every entry relating to Kirwins that I saw, so who knows, one of the following could be a relative of yours. Before you read this, I want to ask again if anybody knows of my great-grandfather John Joseph Kirwin. He could be one of the 3 John Kirwans born in the 1880's listed below, but I cannot be sure. He had an older sister named Margaret Gertrude Kirwin who was married in Manchester, England in 1902. If anybody knows of this family, please let me know.
