You previously posted on GenForum-Kirwan the following: I am seeking any information on any of the following persons: Frances Kirwan of 12, Georges St. East,Dublin, son of Frances Kirwan and Mary Mullen and Mary C. Deane of 14, Vesey Place Dublin, daughter of James Deane and Catherine Brown who were married in the Roman Catholic church of St. Michael, Dun Laoghaire ,Dublin on 24th November,1879. In looking for "my" Kirwans from the area of Foxrock, near Dun Laoghaire, I recently came across an Irish Civil Registration marriage record that seems to be part of "your" Kirwans: On 26 AUG 1878 James Kirwan and Frances McNally were married in the Roman Catholic Chapel of St. Andrew's, N. Dublin, by Rev. Edward Matthews, in the presence of John Kavanaugh of No. 14 Hanningan (?) Street, and Maria Kirwan. It was the first marriage for each, and each was of "full age". James was residing at 11 Liffy St. His father is Francis Kirwan. Frances was lving at 12 Georges St, presumably with her father, Michael McNally. I suspect that James Kirwan is the brother of your Francis Kirwan who married Mary Deane. Hope this helps, let me know. Chris Kirwan
