I am hoping to learn more about John Kerwin, who married Catherine Mathews. They both were born in Ireland. Their daughter, Mary A. Kerwin was born in New York - Sept. 9, 1845. About 1865 Mary married Richard D. Van Volkenburg. She died Jan. 16, 1904 in Wayland, Michigan.
