    3. Found this on the free search for Ancestry today. South Carolina Magazine of Ancestral Research, Vol. 3 Died in Jefferson County, Ala., on the 5th September, Wm Moses, son of James and Mary E. Kirkpatrick, aged 2 years, 9 months (Oct. 28, 1857). South Carolina Magazine of Ancestral Research, Vol. 1, Died in Lowndes County, Mississippi, on the 4th of May last, Mr. Francis Kirkpatrick, aged 69 years. The deceased was born in Chester District, where he remained almost his three score years and ten. … He emigrated to the State of Mississippi last year. … He was a consistent and exemplary member of the Baptist Church. … Married on the 10th inst. at Lancaster, Penn., by the Rev. Dr. Ely of Philadelphia, the Rev. William Snodgrass of New York, to Miss Charlotte H. Moderwel, niece of Wm Kirkpatrick, Esq, of the former place, and sister to the Rev. Wm Moderwel of Augusta, Ga (Dec. 26, 1823). Died on Saturday the 7th day of October, Margaret Narcissa, daughter of James and Eliza Kirkpatrick, aged 4 years, 6 months, and 27 days (ibid.). Married in Lowndes County, Miss., on the 3rd inst., by Rev. John H. Oden, Mr. Newton Kolb and Miss Mary Ann Kirkpatrick. Both the participants of this happy union were born and raised in Chester District (ibid.). Died in Aberdeen, Monroe County, Miss., of Pulmonary Consumption, on Friday, 13th July, ult., Robert Kirkpatrick, in the thirty-second year of his age. The subject of this solemn notice was born and raised in Chester District, S. C., until about twelve years past, he emigrated to Aberdeen, where he, by his ingenious and persevering efforts became proprietor of a steam Cotton Gin factory… (signed J. R. E.) (ibid.). Died in York District near Bullock's Creek, on the 18th inst., Mrs. Cynthia Adeline, wife of Givens Gallaher, and daughter of Arthur Kirkpatrick, in the 37th year of her age. She had been a member of the Presbyterian Church for 21 years, and was much respected for her christian deportment and uprightness of character. She leaves a disconsolate husband with 7 children, mostly small… (May 29, 1856). Pages 134-135. Will of James Barr Senr of Indiantown, planter, being in an afflicted state of body. To my son John, fifty dollars in money… To my Daughter Elizabeth and her husband Hugh Hanna, one hundred dollars. To my two Grandchildren George Alexander Barr & Elizabeth Kirkpatrick Barr, children of my deceased son Daniel Barr, five dollars in money when they arrive to age of 21 years. To my Daughter Jane and her heirs, one Negro woman named Charlotte and her two children named Violet and Isaac.… Residue of my estate to my two sons George and James in two equal halfs. Executors, my three sons John, George, and James Barr. 21 June 1812. Married on the 4th instant by the same, David Sealey and Miss Regina, daughter of Stephen Kirkpatrick, all of this District (ibid.).
