Seeking Moses Kirkpatrick. b. ca 1750 in "Canada Jake" Valley, presumed to be Conococheague Valley. Family letter of 1873 states father and GF, both John, settled in Shippensburg area. Letter says Moses married Mary Johnson (Johnston?). Have original deed (in fragments) of ca. 1783 between Moses and Nicholas Coonts of Shirley twp. Nicholas married Moses sister, Rebekah. Letter says Moses' f, John, m. Betsy Pomeroy. I think this may be of George Pomeroy (Pumry) family of Cumberland cty. John died young. Letter states Betsy remarried Charles Boile. Soon after 1783 Moses and family move to KY. Have much information on Moses' descendants
