    3. >From Ancestry Com Reformed Presbyterian Marriages and Deaths, 18661888 Associate Reformed Presbyterian Death & Marriage Notices Volume II: 18661888 Compiled by Lowry Ware Columbia, South Carolina 1998 Mrs. Kate Kirkpatrick died in Rockbridge County, Va., April 19th, 1884. … had passed, by several years, her three score and ten [years]. She leaves a husband, and a large circle of children. October 8th, 1884 in Mecklenburg County, N. C., by Rev. D. G. Caldwell, Mr. Robert Blythe and Miss Mattie Kirkpatrick. All of Mecklenburg County, N. C. page 80 Died of consumption in Shelby County, Tenn. October 4th, 1884, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, aged 81 years, 9 months and 5 days.... was born and reared in Chester County, S. C.… in 1878, she came with her daughter and grandchildren to make her home in Tipton County, Tenn. [p.80] Again in November, 1883, she removed with them to Shelby County, where she lived in the house of Mr. J. S. Kirkpatrick till the time of her death. Died in Mecklenburg County, N. C. on the 18th of March, 1885, Mrs. Louisa Kirkpatrick, in the 75th year of her age. On the 8th of July, 1830, she was married to Mr. Hugh Kirkpatrick, who, about two years ago, preceded her to the grave… [member] of Ebenezer congregation. … Her children, some gone before, the others grown and settled. Died at Winnsboro, S. C., March 26th, 1886, Mr. John Kirkpatrick McCarley in the 55th year of his age.... born in Craigwarren near Ballymena, County Antrim, Ireland, September 15th, 1830. His family were Scotch Covenanters and removed to Ireland in the time of persecution. In 1870, Mr. McCarley emigrated to South Carolina and located at Woodwards, Fairfield County.... in employ of C. C. & A. R. R., and when the depot was removed to Blackstocks he also removed and aided in building up the Presbyterian church in that place in which he was a ruling elder.... when hymns of human composition were introduced in place of inspired Hymns of Revelation, which had been the exclusive psalmody.... he determined to remove as soon as possible. This he accomplished in the fall of 1882 when he removed to Winnsboro, S. C.… He was elected elder in the A. R. P. church in December, 1884… [leaves] a wife, three daughters and one son. Married, March 10th, 1887 by Rev. R. M. Kirkpatrick, assisted by Rev. R. M. Stevenson, Mr. James M. Stroupe and Miss Hattie Wallace, daughter of Mr. Randolph Wallace, Clover, York County, S. C.
