Hello, I am a new member of the Kirkpatrick list. I am researching ancestors and descendants of Joel and Nancy Kirkpatrick, who were in McMinn Co, TN in 1830 and Bradley Co, TN in 1840. Nancy is mentioned in 1850 and 1860 in Bradley Co. Their children were: Susan b. abt.1830, m. Thomas Jefferson Duncan Mary b. abt.1834, m. William Duncan Melvina Emaline b. abt.1839, m. Robert D. Wilson prob.-James b. abt. 1818, m. Elizabeth Whitecotton. prob.-William, m. Clementine? Melvina Emaline's husband, Robert D. Wilson, died in the Civil War and she married William Arnhart and moved to Hickory and Polk Co, Missouri about 1869 along with the James Kirkpatrick family and Duncan families.
