This line of disccussion brings me to a question that I have held for a while and have never asked. Are the Kirpatrick and Kilpatrick surnames intermingled? I have a grandmother that was a Kilpatrick and I have been looking just for that surname. Should I also assume that somewhere it might have been spelled Kirpatrick instead. Or is one surname from one country and the other from another? Does anyone have any ideas on this subject? For a photo of my grandmother, Jennie May Kilpatrick Piper, visit my family website listed below. June Noland http://www.metro.net/choland >>Try searching for Kilpatrick, that works.
