Does anyone have Kirkpatrick data for those living in Rockbridge Co., VA in the 1760-1790s? Charles, born 1759, married Nancy Boyd in 1791, and they are my direct line. They moved to Blount Co., TN. Another Charles, born 1764 also lived in Rockbridge Co. His father was Charles Sr. Charles Sr. married Agnes ___. Charles Jr. married Sarah Edington in Rockbridge Co., VA in 1794. Jr. left VA about the same time as my Charles and eventually settled in IL. My husband is distantly related to those descending from John of Lancaster Co., PA, who moved to TN. John Kirkpatrick married Jane Wilkens, daughter of Rachel McFarland, who was a sister to my husbands direct line. Rachel and parents came to PA from Ireland about 1718. Would these Kirkpatrick families be related?
