I am looking for anyone with information on Milder Kirkpatrick born November 10, 1915. and died October 1982. Her last known residence was Pullman, Michigan. This is very important to someone very dear to me. Let me start with a story. In 1952 a family in WI. was torn apart. There was a very nasty divorce and the 7 children were separated from each other. They were placed in separate foster homes. The 3 girls in one and the 4 boys in another. This was the last time these children saw their father. Then mother remarried a she came back to WI to claim her children. The children were back together, but they were moved to Chicago, IL. Their last names were changed. Mom made it very difficult for the father to find his children and very difficult for him to be in the state of WI. So he also had to change his name. Forty-two years later the oldest son found his father, but to our dismay he had been dead for 2 and half years. He never got to see his father. All they have now is pictures and stories. The story of their father and a lady named Mildred Kirkpatrick. It seems that their father assumed her name. To our knowledge they were never married. They tried to farm some land in WI. but found the old problem of the ex wife had the police on their tail. So they moved to Pullman MI. We have found the case worker that handled things for Mildred and was told she was taken back to Missouri by her sister. We thought she was still alive when she went to Missouri but we could have been mistaken. The reason we would like to find out about this lady is to just fill in some of the gaps in the history of a long lost father. The stories are all the children have. If anyone has any knowledge of Mildred Kirkpatrick please contact me. Donna
