They had 5 children at that time, Hannah H., Sarah J. b 1832-d 23 Aug 1873, James A., John L., Henry H. b 6Apr1841-d 2Jan1904. The 6th child, Sophronia J., was born in IA 1858-d 6Sep1881. "Sarah J. Kirkpatrick married William Moore Young in Jefferson Cty, IA. on 4 Jan1855. They had 6 children of which only 3 survived: Alma Belle, George Washington and Harry Edison.
