I am researching the family of the Rev Hugh KIRKPATRICK - b. 17 Jan 1806 Sumner Co. TN d. 20 Mar 1876 Sumner Co. TN - m. to Pelinah Ella LEGGETT on 6 Dec 1828 in Sumner Co. TN they had 9 children his daughter Tennessee E. KIRKPATRICK married Addison L. THORNHILL the son of my g-g-g-grandfather on 17 Feb 1862. in Sumner Co. TN >From what I have been able to find so far one James KIRKPATRICK was the father of Hugh above and his wife was a Mary STEWART..
