I'm looking for the parents of Sarah Kirkpatrick, b, abt. 1772, KY (says her son William Barnes, b. 1814, Greene Co, OH). Sarah married Alexander Barns,( b. 1770 NY)either in KY near Cincinnati, or in Hamilton or Greene Cos, OH before 1806. Her parents may have left KY for land in the tract called "between the Miamis" in what is now Greene Co, near Dayton. She died in IN, Carroll Co. in 1838.Children were: Sarah Barns, Elizabeth Barns John Barns William Barns Any help on these KY/OH Kirkpatricks would be welcome. I see that a John Kirkpatrick and a Wm Kirkpatrick settled in this above mentioned tract i about 1810 and 1811. Does anyone know about them? Thanks so much. I' m at a dead end.
