Hi, I'm searching for my KIRK ancestors. Father of the known family was Thomas Kirk, who died in Philadelphia in 1849. Prior to this the family was probably in NYC. Thomas' children were born: Ann KIRK, Feb 7, 1822 Thomas KIRK, Jan 19, 1825 D. April, 1854 in NY Jane KIRK, June 18, 1827 May KIRK, Dec 2, 1829 Sarah KIRK, Nov 30, 1831 twins John and William, b Dec 15, 1834. The mother, name unknown, died shortly after this birth.
