I am looking for parents and siblings of John Milton Kilpatrick, b abt 1824 in TN, married Emily Coleman Morgan in 1843 in Franklin Co., TN, and they are still there in the 1850 census. However, they began westward migration soon thereafter, staying awhile in MS, and then settling in Claiborne Parish, LA, where John died around the close of the Civil War. I am also interested in learning more about the parents and siblings of Ephraim Reed Kilpatrick of nearby Lincoln Co., TN, as he is about the same age. There is a George F. Kilpatrick and wife Eliza in the 1850 Franklin Co. TN census, who is also about the same age. His parents were William and Hannah. Could Ephraim Reed be another son in their family?
