    3. Shirley - I am descended from Kirkpatricks who were scots-irish and arrived in the mid 1730s and after a brief time in PA moved to SC. I have a James Kirkpatrick, born 1788. He is believed to have died 7 February 1816 and is buried in Bullock's Creek Church Cemetery in York County, South Carolina. I do not have spouse information. This James Kirkpatrick was a son of Robert Kirkpatrick 1748/49 to 1803 and Rebecca Wood(?). Robert is also buried in Bullock Creek. This James Kirkpatrick, born 1788 was a nephew of my 5th g-grandfather James Kirkpatrick who died in 1781 in the Revolutionary War in York Co, SC and also buried at Bullock Creek. His father was also James Kirkpatrick(the immigrant) 1710-1786 who died in South Carolina and is buried there. Do we possibly have a connection?
