I am looking for any information about Matthew and Mary (McKeown) Kirkpatrick who emigrated from Riverside, Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland around 1886. They had six children: Mary, Margaret, Hannah, Alfred, Emma, and Jane. They settled in Western New York State in Knowlesville, Orleans County. Mary passed in 1905 and Matthew passed in 1918. My Kirkpatrick line begins with the arrival of the gr-gr gr grand in 1759 to these shores. Can't help you. One piece of information . My male cousin took one of the genealogy tests. It was a hoot. There are are least 2 dozen sets of male kirkpatrick genes on the genetic web site, and its pretty clear every one is related at some sort of cousin level. We laughe As good Roman Catholics and sturdy women many of the families had many children in the old days. The family "memory in my grandfather's family was that 7 brothers arrivd and 3 went north and 4 went south and all Kirkpatrick in this country were related. Who knows! I would be interested if you had a Cozier ! Settled in early 1800s >> in Upstate Nw York.
