I am looking for parents and siblings of John Milton Kilpatrick, b abt 1824 in TN, married Emily Coleman Morgan in 1843 in Franklin Co., TN, and they are still there in the 1850 census. However, they began westward migration soon thereafter, staying awhile in MS, and then settling in Claiborne Parish, LA, where John died around the close of the Civil War. I am also interested in learning more about the parents and siblings of Ephraim Reed Kilpatrick of nearby Lincoln Co., TN, as he is about the same age. There is a George F. The first land purchase from Henderson & Co was by Andrew Jackson, a land speculator and later President of the U S. In 1801 Alexander Kirkpatrick bought 100 acres for $1.00 an acre from Andrew Jackson and in 1802 Alexander Kirkpatrick again bought 100 acres for $1,00 an acre. I'm looking for information on Arthur Y. Kirkpatrick who married Martha Diane Gurley in Greene County, Missouri about 1855. They were in Pulaski, ARK in 1860 with the following kids: Susan, Sarah, James, Ann E., and Dorcas Jane. By 1870, Martha was back in Greene County, Springfield, Missouri widowed with only Dorcas and Ann E. What happened to Arthur and the other 3 kids?

They lived in Belleview, Washington County, Missouri in 1830 and he died before 1840. She is on the census in 1850. Daughter Virginia KIRKPATRICK married Joseph Campbell MOYER in the early 1850s in Belleview, Washington (now Iron) County, Missouri. Elisha Kirkpatrick was married twice. First he married Mary Shelton, sister of Smith Gamble Breckenridge's first wife, Jane Shelton; then Elisha married as his second wife, her sister, Philiscab (Yes, that is right! Can you imagine burdening a baby with that name?)Shelton. [Shelton is connected with Augusta County, Virginia too. And the names MORRISON, DABNEY, HARRISON.] I have information on a David Kirkpatrick in Washington County, Missouri at the same time. I would love to prove a connection between Dr. John and Rev.
