My brick wall is any & all Info prior to the 1850 Indiana,Vigo Co. Prairie Creek Twp. census. Thats where my G.Grandfather Thomas T. King & wife Docia first appear. Soloman may have been a brother,but not sure. Have no clue as to who Thomas' parents were, except I wonder if his Father may have been Henry, who is mentioned in the Prairie Creek Twp. history as coming to the Twp. between 1816&1820. If so there were several children listed, but I have no names. Per the 1850 census Thomas was born in Indiana, his B.D. is5-9-1826. He & Docia had 9 children. I have considerable info. after the 1850 census but absolutely nothing before that census. Family stories are that Thomas' Father came to the U.S. from either Scotland or Ireland, no other info on this either. Does anyone out there have info. that will lead me up to my Indiana folks??
