Sharon, I have a Thomas KING in my line who married Jane (sometimes called Katherine ?) Sharp. I only have one child listed for them and her name was Mary who married Stephen Alexander, Sr. who was born 1741 and died 1810. Stephen was probably born in Northern Ireland. Stephen married Mary in Lancaster County, PA. Stephen and Mary moved with his family and others to Guilford County, North Carolina, where Stephen's name appears on Randolph County's first tax list in 1779 (which included the signing of the Oath of Allegiance). They moved to Greene County, TN in 1797. This is history written down by my great grandmother Mary Emma Alexander. I would like to know more. Do you think we have a connection?
