This post probably looks very familiar to some of you! I never give up hope of finding information on the following family. John KING b. abt. 1760 place unknown. d. unknown. His family may have been from Norwich or the New Haven area, they may also have come from MA. John KING married Naomi BEEBE about 1790 New London, CT. They had 11 children all born Waterford, CT. I have information on almost all of them to share. Names are; Maria Polly Grovery Jerusha John Phineas Lucretia Jonathan Rogers--my line. Mahalia Charles Lucy Frederick Jonathan Rogers KING b. 5/17/1808 Waterford, CT d. 12/11/1893 New London, CT. Married (1) Mary Ann NICHOLS/NICOLS 8/15/1830. They had 7 children all born Waterford and New London, CT. Names are; Mary Amelia Naomi Maria Anna Francis--my line William Matilda Abby Jane Jonathan Rogers KING m. (2) Abby Francis NICHOLS/NICOLS 6/1/1851. They had a number of children but only 3 survived past childhood. They are; John Henry Francis H. Jonathan Rogers, jr. Anna Francis KING b. 10/7/1842 New London, CT d. aft. 1880 New London, CT. married (1) George Benjamin DARLING 10/8/1858 New London, CT. They had 5 children born in MA and CT. Names are; Herbert L. DARLING Frank DARLING Stella DARLING William Edwin DARLING--my line Alvin Sterling DARLING Anna Francis KING was also married to (2) Sam, Salmu, Salma, SCOVILLE and a man w/ the surname of WHITROCK.
