I hope someone out there can help me. I am looking for the parents of Edward King, born 1755-60. He was in the Revolutionary war and when he was released from the army he went back to his home in Caswell Co. NC. He married Sarah Browning the daughter of Jacob Browning and Elizabeth Bywaters Browning. Edward lived on the County line Creek in Caswell Co. He lived in the Gloucester District. He lived by a Nathaniel King. I have never been able to find his parents or most of his children. He had a daughter Mary who married William McIntosh and a Son Isaiah who married Susannah Hartsfield daughter of William Hartsfield. Edward lived in Caswell Co. NC. from the time he left the army until about 1800. He lived near the McIntosh families, The Browning Families and Nathaniel King there. He left Caswell Co. and moved to Robertson Co. Tn. about 1800 where the McIntosh and some of the Browning families moved to. In about 1810 he and some of the McIntosh families and Browning families moved to Bedford Co. TN. He applied for his army Pension there in 1818. I can go back no farther than Caswell Co.
