Bruce--I believe there are 2 or 3 King families in Tioga County that do not have any known connection. The Benedict King I find in Tioga Co is too young to be Truman & Martins father, if in fact, your Martin is Martion VanBuren King, married to Vesta Clara Bailey b. 6 Oct 1846; prts of Katherine Edna King b.2 Apr 1877. James P King & wife Mary Boom are parents of Benedict King born abt 1851 in Pa. My King line with James King & his wife Rhobe Howland were in Tioga Co in 1840, the Westfield/Jemison area. James is a Rev. War soldier from RI.
