For a very long time I have looked for the first wife of Charles Woodley King, born 1765 in Mecklenburg, VA and died November 18, 1825 in Nicholas County, (W)VA. They had two children that I know of: Elizabeth King born 1795 in Virginia. She may have married twice, first to a Rollins and second to John Randolph Mason in Nicholas County. William Howes King born October 25, 1793 in Giles County, died February 8, 1810 in Clay County, WV. He married Sarah Pierson, born 1803 in Monroe County, VA. William Howes death certificate gives his mother as "Mrs. Charles King". Charles Woodley married second, Nancy Ann Napier February 6, 1798.I have children from both marriages.
