Would like to share info on the following: Benedict King b abt 1810 in Rhode Island? + Caroline ? b abt 1808 in NY Truman King b 1839 in NY Martin King b 1842 in NY Hiram King b 1844 in NY Diana King b 1846 in NY The only place I have found this family is in the 1850 & 1860 Federal Census in Tioga County, PA. My line is through Hiram who married Maria Livingston, daughter of William and Catherine Simmerson Livingston. Does anyone connect with any of these mysterious King's? Bruce: I have a Truman born in Erie Co. PA in 1835. Parents (Steven and Barbara) with their families made their way from Exeter RI through NY to PA starting about the late 1790. Since Truman is an unusual name, I am wonder if there is a connection given the naming conventions of that time. Do you have siblings or parentage for Benedict?
