    1. Re: [KING] LDS corrections
    2. I have the same problem as one put in and made up a family for my William Winchester b. 1777 even using three sons of another William Winchester as my William brothers then gave them all Isaac Winchester to be all their fathers. So what I did was to copy the error genealogy and in my data base I could state disproved by each of the non brothers of my William and give him the proper father. I then submitted this to LDS ancestry file. It should be added to their data when they get 5 CD full to send to their local branch, I was told. We will see. You cannot get them to correct but you can add the correct information so both show. I only did the two generations as my 7000 relatives are not going to be a web pages. Ancestry.com has already stolen some of my work thanks due to sharing with a very distance cousin. They won't correct my mothers family either. Some one years ago was anxious for them to have family information and they put my mother/ brothers/ sisters and parents with the wrong parents and we all have the proof but they won't correct it. However you could have your sister submit it all again. Maybe that is why the Daughters of the American Revolution will not accept LDS as proof. Any way - like they say - we feel your pain!
