For Thanksgiving Dinner I would invite my gggg-gf Thomas King (1714-1798) who lived 40 years in Louisa Co. VA and had 8 sons and 4 daughters, all of whom survived to adulthood. They were: Sackville, lived in VA; William, lived in VA; Thomas, lived in VA; Elisha, lived in ?Ohio; John, lived in Spartanburg, SC; Phillip, lived in Warren Co TN; Walter, lived in Roane Co TN; Benjamin, lived in Harrison Co IN; and Margaret King Telford, Catherine King Haynie, Martha and Elizabeth. Sackville, William, Elisha, John and Phillip served in the Revolution. I would ask Thomas where he came from and who his mother and father were; and I would also ask him to get in touch with all his living male King descendants to ask them to have a Y-DNA test done (http://www.familytreedna.com/public/KING_FamilyTree_YDNA_Project) so the cousins could get in touch and wish each other a Happy Thanksgiving.
