Hi Carol: Oral family history on my KING family was that they migrated from Wilmington, NC area through Lincolnton, NC to TN. A long time ago I did a little research regarding the KING's in the Wilmington area. I found an Ephraim King who served in the war of 1812 and could have been my gr. gr. grandfather Ephraim King that migrated to Lincoln Co. TN in the early 1800's. But was unable to find any connecting documentation to support his migration to LCT.
