Since everyone is writing about their William King ancestors, I guess I'll throw mine in there, also. My 3rd great grandfather, William I. King was born in 1796, Sullivan County TN & died in 1869, Rhea County TN. His father, Thomas King (RWS) was born in 1754, Lancaster County PA & died in 1847, Sullivan County TN. Supposedly Thomas was grandson of "immigrant", also Thomas, who may have came to the Colonies from Ireland, but I haven't been able to "prove" that.
