Hi Nancy I haven't seen the book you mention, but am reasonably certain that my verified 3rd ggf, William Isaac King, 27 November 1796 in Sullivan County TN to 16 August 1868 in Rhea County TN, was son of the Thomas King, 1754 to 1847, mentioned in the book. In the (admittedly limited) info that I have on this family, none of your names/dates seem to work & I don't see anything about Scott, Hancock or Claiborne Counties. There were a bunch of Kings in Sullivan County TN as early as late 1770s, so it's very possible that one or more moved up to Scott and then over to Claiborne (which Hancock was formed from), from Sullivan.
