Hi Sarah: Where in Canada do your Kings come from? I have John King, wife Julia, had a child, Mary, who died in Troy, Cheshire County, NH 20 Mar 1870. Her death record says she was born abt 1851 in St Jeans, Canada East. (I call him John Sr.)) Another daughter, Amelia, was born in Troy, Cheshire County NH on 20 Dec 1870. A son, John C King, (I call him John Jr) was married on 16 Nov 1868 to Julia Lashua in Troy, Cheshire County, NH. He died in Templeton, Worcester County, MA 25 June 1891. Their marriage record states that he was 19 yrs old (which would make him born abt 1849) in St Jeans, C. E. (Canada East) which is Quebec. His father John King and mother Julia King. Julia was born abt 1852 Fitzwilliam, Cheshire Cty, NH and died 4 Aug 1926 Ashburnham, Worcester Cty, MA Marriage record states her parents were Charles Lashua and Mary Blake. John Jr is my husband's great grandfather.
