Hi, My gr. gr. gr. gr. grandfather, David W. Sheldon had a 2nd wife named Mary S. King that he married on 20 DEC 1875 in Lowell, Seneca Co., Ohio. They had one son, Isaac Truman SHELDON born 19 SEPT 1876.(Nearest relative of Isaac in 1918 was Charlie King of Lake Odessa, MI.) David W. was age 71 when they married. Mary's next husband was Henry GRIFFIN on 13 JULY 1878 in Sandusky Co., Ohio. She was married several times and last husband was a Mr. Harrington in Ionia co., MI. Her parents were Archibald and Elizabeth (Kocher/Kocker/Kicher)King who lived in Lowell, Adams Twp., Seneca Co., Ohio about 1860-1870. Archibald died between 1860 and 1870 because he is not in the census with Elizabeth and her children, William, Mary, Sarah and Eva. Elizabeth had a brother named John Kocher who was living with the family in 1860. I have more info on their daugher Mary who had a son Truman Sheldon and then 2nd marriage to Henry Griffin in Sandusky Co., Ohio. there was also a daughter named Belle Griffin. Anyone related to a KING family in Seneca Co., OH or Lake Odessa, MI?
