My King family came from Ireland and settled in Morris County, NJ about 1761. The progenitor of this family is James King (1711-1785). My direct line stayed in Roxbury Township, Morris County, NJ but some of the other members ended up in/around Trenton, NJ, Nebraska and Illinois. I am currently collecting all Morris County, NJ Kings and trying to sort them into the proper family.
