Hi List, I was busy searching out another family line, on my dad's side, but I have read each post hoping to find something that looks familiar. I am a single mom who works full-time so my research time is pretty limited most of the time. When I run into some information about one of my branches I generally follow it as far as I can before moving on to another branch and right now it is my dad's Roberts family that is getting my time. A loose brick fell from the wall and I have been busy chipping away at Roberts, Myers, and Coons. I think my mom is feeling a little slighted because I haven't shown them anything about her side of the family in a while. :) Some of the information that follows was given to me by an aunt who had obtained it from a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th cousin who had done some searching, but I have no documentation so I cannot state that it is fact. My grandfather did tell me that his grandparents were George W and Elizabeth so I think most of that information on down is close. Someone in the family has mentioned that they think this family started out as STONEKING. I am wondering if the S in James S. King could be Stone?
