    2. Paula, I, also, have Northern KING's. My g-g Grandfather, George KING, was b. abt 1820 in VA or PA, (of 6 U.S. census's-half say PA and half, VA) and d. in 1888, Anderson Co., KS. His father was born in PA, according to all records. But I do not know the father's name. We believe he had a bro. named James, based on research by a cousin. By 1838, my 1.George KING was living in and owned prop in Geneva T., Jennings Co., IND. He marr.1. Nancy E. BOYD (b. abt 1823 OH, d. at age 74, abt 1897 KS), on 30 Sept, 1840 in that county. Family was living in Van Buren T., Madison Co., IND in 1850 U.S. census. Many KING families in neighboring town of Pipe Creek T. Unknown if families are related. By 1857, my George KING's family had moved to Scipio P.O., Monroe T., Anderson Co., KS. Children of George KING and Nancy BOYD: 2. Joseph F. , b. 17 Sep 1842 Jennings Co., IND, m. on 24 Jun 1865 to Catherine Ferrell LEWELLEN/LEWELLING, (b. 20 Nov 1844 IND), dau of James LEWELLING of Sand Creek T., Jennings Co., IND. Joseph was a Civil War Veteran. Joseph and family moved to Anderson Co., KS after 1865, then in 1883 bought prop in Montgomery Co., KS, where they spent the rest of their lives. 2. Elizabeth A., b. 1845 2. William, b. 1847, m. on 24 Mar, 1866 Jennings Co., IND to Jenny BRAZELTON. 2. Robert Clinton, b. Nov 22, 1849, IND, m. on Sept 21, 1870, Anderson Co., KS to Mary Jane (May) LIPPY, d. Feb 13, 1822, Anderson Co., KS. Their children: John, Charles, Ernest, Frances, f, (m. Robert A. Simons), Harry Myers King, and Mrs Hubert Moore (marr name....given name ukn). 2. David, b. 1851 IND 2. Emily/Emma, b. 1859 Anderson Co., KS. Listed w/family on 1860 census.......no longer listed w/family on 1870 census. 2. George, b. 1861 Anderson Co., KS. 2. Martha (May S.), b. 1863 Anderson Co., KS, m. _______MADDOX, 1884? Family oral history gives the names of 5 other children: James, Benjamin M., John, Lena, and Cynthia, who I have not been able to verify thru U.S. census info, but who may be on IND or KS State census. _____ 2.Joseph F.
