Filed January 1833. Aged 77 or 78. Enlisted in Bedford Co., VA under Col. Charles Lynch in Capt. Robert Adams company. Speaks of his father, Avra King who was drafted, also in Bedford, by Capt. Charles Watkins. Names the following officers: Leut. Wm. Reynolds, Capt. Isaac Webb, Capt. James Calloway, Ensign Wm. Triplett and Col. Benj.
