In the 1900 AK census, (where he apparently went to work as an auditor during the Gold Rush), he is listed with wife May F. (?) and dau. Helen. In 1920 WA census, he is in Seattle, King Co., with wife, May, and 3 children, Helen 22, Robert W. 19, and Margaret E. 17 (all children born in AK).
