I have a McDaniel/King line with Elza McDaniel on it (a son of James William McDaniel and Sarah King). Elza McDaniel had a "cousin" Elza King. The quotation marks indicate that we know their is a "cousin" relationship, but we don't have the common ancestry. These two Elza's and yours born about same time. Know I missed something--yours were in Athens Co-- what state? Oh yes, I also know of an Alpheus McDaniel/McDonald, but I do not have a certain connection to his family.
