My family history has always told of two King brothers who came to Virginia in the mid 1600's to work off debt from England/Scotland. They married Indian girls - one who was related to Powhatan. Every cousin I have talked with in recent searches, confirms the same story. I even ran across a distant cousin I had never heard of - who told me the same thing - and he had heard it for years on his side of the King lines! I do know there were two King men - aboard the 2nd Virginia Charter. They could be the ones. But I haven't had the resources to go from there to my earliest known King - William King, born in Scott County Virginia in 1779. Wish we could find the line and connect back to those two brothers. Anyone know of them? Thanks! Nancy :-)
