Yes, there definitely were Kings in Wisconsin. I'm not sure about now. Sometime around 1885 or 90 my grandfather, Charles Henry KING, arrived to study dentistry at Marquette in Milwaukee. At least, that is the story. He married my grandmother, Aleda M. LINK, in 1890 and they moved to Amherst, WI where he practiced dentistry until he died in 1907. Now here is the problem: Charles was born in Vermont of French Canadian father and French mother. How is that for a lot of information? He had six siblings: Mary, Joe, Sam, Ann, George and -?-.
