Seems many of us are in the same boat with our King ancestors ....running into brick walls. Here is my brick wall .... Zachariah King born abt 1775 according to Monroe Co., Ky 1850 census possibly North Carolina or South Carolina married to Drucilla ?, she was not on 1850 census. His son my grgr Alphonso King was born 1822 in Ky. I don't know of any other children of Zachariah and Drucilla. Alphonso married Sally Steen in Monroe Co., Ky and their children: John Wesley King born 1847 married Mary E. Parsley; Zachariah King born Aug 1848 married Louisa; Ann King born 1850 married Benjamin Burnett 2nd Calvin Cox; Alfa (Algamira M) King born 1853; Elizabeth King born Sep 16, 1855 married Dallas McAdoo; Sarah Jane King born Apr 7, 1861 married James Ford; Julia Mulkey King born Apr 11, 1862 married Lewis Harp my line; George Clemmons King born Feb 15, 1865 married Mary Wright. George King and Zachariah King were living in Macon Co., Tn after 1900. Anything to help us will be greatly appreciated. Cheryl A
