Does anyone have Kings in Illinois? I am still researching John Peerless KING, born 28 May 1839 Illinois, died 24 May 1880 Conway, Faulkner Co., Arkansas. John may have lived in Tennessee before appearing on the 1860 Conway County, AR census at age 21. I have his Civil War records, his listing on the 1870 AR census, and have traced his descendants, but I cannot seem to get a breakthrough as to his parents, siblings, or county in Illinois where he was born.
