The Edmund I am researching is said to have deeded the land for a new court house after the forming of Pittsylvania Co. 2. There is a reference to a will for Valentine King: Valentine KING, b 1747, received land in Jefferson Co., Ky. for Revolutionary services, also in Fayette Co. will proved April 13, 1790, which mentions "my beloved mother" Elizabeth Edwards KING, and his brothers and sisters.
