I've noticed a few people writing about Richard King in TX, born in Orange Co., NY. It reminded me that last year, when we were visiting my parents-in- law in Georgetown, TX, I noticed a VERY old cemetery near a park there. So being the faithful genealogist I am :) I took a look in this VERY old and fairly small cemetery. I saw a William King which caught my eye, whose headstone stated he was from Orange Co., NY!! I don't have the dates anymore, but can ask my mother-in-law to make a trip down there to get this info if anyone is interested. I'm pretty sure he lived in the early 1800's. Meanwhile, I'd still love to hear from anyone researching OUR William King's family. William being born in Vermont abt. 1796 and at some point moving into Ontario, Canada, where he married Sibyl Clark and had all 10 of their children: Mary, Irena, Michael, Jared, Chancy, Almira, DeWitt Clinton, George, Sarah and Catherine.
