Hi List, I am new to this list. I am interested in finding out if anyone out there has any information on any Buck Kings especially in NC but I will accept all at this point. I have just started my husband's line. His grandmother, Debbie King married Plato Heath in Lenoir County, NC. Her father was a Buck King married to an Eliza ???. I am trying to find out if Buck was his real name or a nick name. Nobody seems to know. "Buck" turns up as a nickname later in this family. You can see how hard it is going to be to research this family if all I have is a nick name. Has anyone run across any Buck Kings, nick name or not? thanks!
